In this page you will find important information to keep in mind during your stay. 

 

Please take care of the accommodation as if it were your own, especially towels, bedding and furniture. In the rare case that you find any of it stained, please let us know within 2 hours of arrival. ***DO NOT USE TOWELS AS RAGS OR TO REMOVE MAKEUP*** If something is not working correctly, please let us know immediately and give us the opportunity to try to fix it as our desire is for you to have a great stay.

WIFI Wi-Fi is provided by the resort and is included in the resort fee. To connect to the wifi, search for the PARK ROYAL network, when you select it a window will automatically open after a few seconds. Select "I HAVE A CODE" and enter the code prcan102024

LIGHTS ABOVE BEDS & ELECTRICITY FAILURE In some Bedrooms the switch to turn on the lights above the beds may be located in the furniture that is in the middle of the beds. If you run out of electricity it may be due an over load in a electricity circuit. If so you can solve it by resetting the breaker box switches.

AIR-CONDITIONING We recommend that you do not turn off the air conditioning at any time and if your apartment has terrace or balcony keep doors closed at all times, otherwise the ice water pipe may condense and cause a leak. Check in the link below how to program the thermostat. If it does not work correctly, do not hesitate to contact us to report it to the resort maintenance.

WATER SERVICE Please note that the water supply is a service provided by the resort and, although they mention that it is suitable for drinking, we would not recommend it and we are not responsible for any discomfort or infection that you or your companions may experience. We only recommend it for bathing, rinsing your mouth or brushing your teeth. Regarding hot water, it comes from the boilers that are in the basement of the building, so may take a while to come out in the shower, depending on the floor you are on, especially very early in the morning or very late at night. Please be patient, but if it takes more than 5 minutes please let your host know so we can report it to resort maintenance. Also be aware that sometimes the water may come out a little bit yellow since the hotel uses desalinated water from the sea.

SNACKS, BEVERAGES & ICE For your convenience, the condominium has left some snacks, drinks and other products for your consumption. You can check inventory and Prices by scanning the QR code next to the products and on the refrigerator door. If consumed, they will be charged to the registered card or deducted from the deposit. You can bring those beverages and snacks to the pool or beach in the cooler that is inside the closet. Please don't take the beers out of the fridge unless you are going to consume them since can get spoiled. ICE Inside the freezer you will find containers to make ice, since due to hygiene measures the hotel's ice machines have been deactivated.

FOOD & DRINK PACKAGES, RESTAURANTS & SUPERMARKET The resort in which the Condo is located operates under the "All inclusive" modality so you are not able to consume in their restaurants or bars unless you pay for a food & drink package which are subject to availability and must be paid at the reception. But don't worry, at the shopping center across the street you will find many restaurant options for all budgets.

TV & SOUND SYSTEMS TV Your television is a smart TV with apps such as Netflix, Prime and Youtube but you need to use your account credentials to watch them. For Roku TV's you can watch live TV by selecting LIVE TV from the main menu. For Samsung TV's you can watch live TV by selecting Samsung TV app. For rooms 1212, 1408, 1501, 1503 and 1608 the remote control has the volume buttons on the side. SOUND SYSTEMS We have stereo components in Apartments 1212, 1408, 1608 & 1501 and Tribit Mini Speakers at apartment 1105 & room 1503 . To pair the stereo components to your smartphone by Bluetooth follow these steps: Activate the Bluetooth on your smartphone. Turn on the sound system unit. Stay less than 10 meters away. Press [Bluetooth] from the remote control. If PAIRING appears, skip the next step. If "PAIRING" is not displayed, press [PLAY MENU] on the remote control, then [OK] and PAIRING will be displayed, otherwise on the sound system press and hold the Bluetooth button for approximately 5 seconds, until the legend "PAIRING" is displayed. ". Look in the menu of your smartphone for the Bluetooth link with the device model name and select it. If prompted for a password, enter "0000." The smartphone will automatically synchronize after completing this process. To pair the Tribit Mini Speaker to your smartphone device by Blootooth turn on the speaker. Turn on the bluetooth feature in your smartphone and look for the Tribit Xsound Go and select it. Wait for the connection to stablish.

SAFE BOX, IRON & KITCHENETTE EQUIPMENTS Apartments 1105, 1212, 1408, 1501 and 1608 have kitchenettes equipped with Stove, microwave, blender, toaster, and some other appliances. Instructions for the use of electric stove is attached to the wall next to it. Also in room 1503 you can find a microwave and instructions are at attached to it.  Safe Box is in the closet and instructions are next to it or attached to it. Also in the closet you will find an iron and first aid box.

SOFA BEDS, INFLATABLE BEDS & CRIBS We have 2 futon sofa beds in apartments 1212, 1408 and 1501 as well as 1 futon sofa bed in room 1503 and in apartments 1608 and 1105. . Also we have an inflatable double bed in units 1514, 1516, 1319 and 1321. You must request it when filling out the pre-checkin form or, failing that, with your host with 24 hours notice MATTRESS PROTECTORS, BLANKET, SHEETS AND EXTRA PILLOWS If you have requested the use of sofa beds or inflatable beds you can find a mattress protector, sheets, blanket and extra pillows as follows: In units 1212, 1408 & 1501 in the large white furniture next to the dining room and for the rest of the units those will be in the closet. If you use the sofa bed or inflatable bed, PLACE THE PROTECTOR FIRST and then the sheets and the cover. CRADLES As for cribs, we have one in each unit and it is inside the closet. Sheets, blanket and additional pillow for cribs are also requested in the pre-checkin form or with your host 24 hours in advance as mentioned in our house rules. Furniture inside apartments with terrace/balcony is not allowed to be taken out as it is not for outside use and could be damaged

TOWELS, BED SHEETS, PILLOW CASES, BLANKETS & TOILET PAPER. We leave for you a bath towel and a pool towel for each person on the reservation, including children and babies. The pool towels (blue and white) are in the closet and are the only ones you can take out of the room, but don't forget to return them. The hotel cannot provide you with towels as they are exclusively for its guests. White towels cannot leave the room and cannot be exchanged for hotel towels as the hotel ones are marked. f you require a change of towels during your stay, you must request it 24 hours in advance. Both services will be subject to availability. The cost of changing towels is $2 dollars per towel, and for sheets and pillow cases is $5 dollars per bed. Please don't use towels to clean any objects or take out makeup. Also be aware that some sunscreens and hair color have certain chemicals that are very difficult to take out. Also please take care of bed sheets, pillow cases and blankets as if those where yours. I The following are the replacement costs for this items:  Body & pool towels $30 USD hand towels & Pillow cases $15 USD Bed sheets $30 USD & Blankets $50 USD  Regardless of the replacement costs, Extra laundry costs in case of stains apply: Mattress covers and blankets $5 USD each Body or pool towels and sheets $3 USD each Hand towels and pillowcases $2 USD each TOILET PAPER Based on historical consumption, we have left enough toilet paper taking into account the number of people and number of nights in your reservation. In case we have left you extra roll(s), you can find them in the closet. However, in case you require more, we ask that you request it 48 hours in advance. You can also buy more at the shop located on the first floor of the main hotel building or at the pharmacy across the street.

RESORT FEE & AMENITIES HOURS RESORT FEE The resort fee you have paid includes the following:  *Access to the beach *Access to the 2 swimming pools in the resort. *Access to the Palapas on the beach (First come, first serve). *Access to the kids water park with slides and water games. *Access to authentic Mayan ruins within the resort. *Activities and events at the resort. (Subject to availability. For more information ask at the frontdesk or pool area. Some events may have an additional cost). *Wireless Wi-Fi *Parking for one vehicle per reservation (First come, first serve). POOL & WATER PARK HOURS Pool hours are from 8am to 8pm Water Park are from 8am to 6pm Any of the amenities offered in the resort fee may be canceled without prior notice for reasons of force majeure or beyond our control.

HOT TUB (Apt 1501) If you are in apartment 1501 there is a hot tub at the terrace. The use of it is from 8 am to 10 pm. The water may come out slightly yellow since it is desalinized water that comes from the sea. The hot tub is washed before each arrival, but as it is outside it may have become dirty from rain or dust.

GYM As a Guest of the condo, you can pay to have access to the Gym. For more information, check with the hotel reception in advance, as a reservation may be required. (Subject to availability and only for adults).

SHOWS AND TOURS: Coco Bongo is a show you can't miss, it offers our guests a 20% discount on their packages. Application for you and your companions. To make the discount valid you must contact or send a WhatsApp to the call center +52 998 577 4289, preferably one day in advance and indicate the date you are interested in attending, the number of people, the name of the person to whom the reservation will be done and mention the discount code OCEANFRONT AIRBNB. They will give you the details and payment methods. For Other Tours There is an agency on the first floor of the main resort building that can sell you tickets to shows and tours during your stay.

LAUNDRY & CLEANING SERVICES LAUNDRY We offer laundry service upon request at $2 per kilo (2.2 lb). It must be requested to your host 48 hours in advance and delivery is made 24 hours after picking it up. CLEANING The only cleaning that is included in your reservation is the one we make at your departure. If you want an extra cleaning service including change of sheets and towels, please let us know 48 hours in advance. It has a cost of $600 mexican pesos. If you only require a change of towels or sheets, you must request it 48 hours in advance. Both services will be subject to availability. The cost of changing towels is $2 dollars per towel and for sheets is $5 dollars per bed.

GARBAGE ROOM & GARBAGE BAGS If you want to take out the trash you can leave it in tightly closed plastic bags inside the room that says "staff only". The locations for those rooms are:  Floor 1, next to room 1111 Floor 2 next to room 1209 Floor 3 next to room 1309 Floor 4 next to room 1409 Floor 5 next to room 1507 Floor 6 next to room 1607 Besides the garbage bags placed on each garbage bin inside each unit, you will find a couple of extra garbage bags inside or under the snacks basket.

INSECTS Since we are in the Caribbean and due to the jungle and humid climate, there are insects that can enter the apartment such as mosquitoes, ants or cockroaches. Although we fumigate the apartment every two weeks, if you detect an insect, let us know as soon as possible so we can send someone to apply insecticide.

VISITORS According to condominium and resort policies, for security reasons, visitors are not allowed. However, you can ask at the resort reception as they may make an exception but only if your visit pays for the DAY PASS (subject to availability). Entering more people than those contemplated in your reservation may result in its cancellation and even being evicted without the right to a refund.

POLICIES AND RULES OF THE CONDOMINIUM AND THE RESORT: * Parties or pets are not accepted. *Quiet hours are from 10pm to 8am. * According to legislation in Mexico, the resort and accommodation are "SMOKE FREE" places. However, for your convenience there are some outdoor smoking places located in the common areas of the resort (please ask at reception or security staff). If you smoke inside the accommodation, you could be fined $125USD * In Mexico, the consumption or sale of narcotics and the carrying of firearms is prohibited. Should guests engage in illegal activities, hotel security may be forced to call authorities. * If a towel is lost or has stains that we cannot remove, a replacement cost of $40 will be charged for each body or pool towel and $20 for each hand towel. In the case of sheets, the replacement cost is $100 dollars per set. * We ask that you take care of the common areas of the resort and the condominium and especially the Accommodation and its contents as if they were yours, since in the event of damage caused by you or your companions you could be responsible even beyond the deposit for unforeseen events. *We & the condominium reserves the right to enter the unit at any time in case of an emergency or urgent repair to avoid any damage to the facilities. For this reason, we ask you to keep your valuables in the safe in your absence, since we are not responsible for them. *It is VERY IMPORTANT that if your unit has a stove that you make sure it stays off if you leave the condo to avoid an accident. In Mexico the law can establish legal responsibilities for damage to property or to third parties.

CHECKOUT & DEPARTURE The unit must be vacated at the time of departure selected on the pre-checkin format since we will perform cleaning at that time. If you change your mind and need to depart later you need to inform no later than 11pm the night before so we can reschedule the cleaning service, any way the unit cannot be vacated later than 11am. If a guest leaves after this time, they will be subject to a penalty of $1 for each minute of delay. In case of a delay of more than one hour, in addition to charging the corresponding penalty, the condominium reserves the right to evict the guest with the help of security personnel. If you need to stay at the resort after 11 am you can do so but no later than 3pm. In this case you must return the bracelets at reception just before you leave the resort.

TRANSPORT

If you need transportation from the resort to the airport, it costs $800 Mexican pesos for up to 8 people. Please request it at least 48 hours in advance at this link: transportation
